Christmas Tree Recycling With Boy Scout Troop 505

Writer's picture: Liz JohnsonLiz Johnson

Now that the holidays have passed, it’s time to take down the decorations and prepare for a brand new year. But for those of us with real trees, it’s not as simple as deconstructing and packing away in boxes. Disposing of your Christmas tree can be a real pain, but Boy Scout Troop 505 has got your back!

In hopes of raising money for next year’s camp, the boys will be offering a Christmas tree recycling program! You need only have your trees on the curb, and a meager fee of $10, and your tree disposal problem is gone!

The boys will be out January 7th and 9th.

Please have your trees out on the curb by 9:00am

$10.00 checks are to be made out to Troop 505

Please remove all lights, ornaments, and tinsel

No flocked trees
